Introduction
School life involves a lot of activities where students tend to misplace their personal belongings such as water bottles, blazers, trainers, cricket bags, jumpers, rugby boots, and more. Currently, the process of retrieving lost items can be time-consuming and cumbersome for both students and parents. To improve efficiency and convenience, we propose the implementation of an enhanced Lost and Found system that involves regular documentation of lost items and a dedicated online portal for parental access.

Objectives

The goal of this project is to:

1. Simplify the process for students and parents to identify and claim their child's lost property.
2. Reduce the accumulation of unclaimed items.
3. Involve TPA to build a collaborative and supportive environment for managing lost property.

This project is a collaborative effort between the TPA and Tiffin School staff.

We sincerely appreciate the tremendous effort that goes on behind the scenes to manage the Lost and Found system. This includes collecting items from various locations, storing them, photographing them, and uploading them online to make them easily accessible for parents.

The TPA has been trialing this initiative for a period of three months, from late November 2024 to February 2025, with the trial period officially ending on 28th February 2025. All items found at school and Grist up to 28th February have been updated on the website.

We are currently waiting for the school to assess the trial period and provide a decision regarding the future of the Trackback system. Until this decision is made, we are unable to process any newly found items.

If you have identified your item on the website, please feel free to complete the enquiry form. We continue to monitor emails regularly and will forward your request to the school to arrange collection from the school office. Please note that no new lost and found items will be uploaded to the website until the school confirms the next steps for the system.
