Introduction
School life involves a lot of activities where students tend to misplace their personal belongings such as water bottles, blazers, trainers, cricket bags, jumpers, rugby boots, and more.
Currently, the process of retrieving lost items can be time-consuming and cumbersome for both students and parents. To improve efficiency and convenience, we propose the implementation of an
enhanced Lost and Found system that involves regular documentation of lost items and a dedicated online portal for parental access.
Objectives
The goal of this project is to:
This project is a collaborative effort between the TPA and Tiffin School staff.
Tiffin School: Mr. Williams, A. Marley, T. Hickman, H. Cox , S Lambert and S. Joiner
TPA: Stephen (Y8), Helen (Y13), Ramesh (Y7 & 9), Aisling (Y10), Natalia (Y8 & 11) and Pippa (Y8)
We sincerely appreciate the tremendous effort that goes on behind the scenes to manage the Lost and Found system. This includes collecting items from various locations, storing them, photographing them, and uploading them online to make them easily accessible for parents.
This initiative is being trialed by the TPA for a period of three months. At the end of this trial, the school and TPA will evaluate the system's strengths and areas for improvement to determine the way forward.
To ensure the feasibility and sustainability of this project, we kindly request a small donation (click here for details) for each item collected from the Lost and Found room. These contributions will be used to purchase clothing rails and storage bags, helping us better organise and maintain the system. Any remaining funds will be transferred to the Tiffin Education Fund (TEF) to support broader school initiatives.
We greatly appreciate your generosity and support in making this project a success.
Warm regards,
Tiffin Parents Association
